MakeTag

Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of MakeTag — the website maketag.app and the Discord servers and bots that carry the tags made there (together, the “Service”), operated by MakeTag (“we”, “us”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing in to MakeTag, creating or changing a tag, or joining a tag server, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

7. Giveaway Rules

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

We may remove a tag, take back a server, ban members and block accounts involved in such activity.

9. Public Information

Every active tag is listed publicly in «All tags» on maketag.app: the tag, its badge and colours, the number of members, when it was created or changed, and a link to join its server. Your Discord name is not shown there. Giveaway pages show the Discord names and avatars of their participants and winners.

10. Service Availability

The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. It depends on Discord and on third‑party providers, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeTag is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for the loss of a tag, a server, data or Discord standing, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is free, no compensation is owed for such a loss.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your tag at any time. We may suspend or end your access, remove your tag or take back your server, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if your use harms the Service or other users.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Disputes are resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
